DAY PARADE 2025

Experience the vibrant culture, rich history, and unforgettable spirit of Haiti at the 6th Annual Haitian Culture Day Parade, happening on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Brooklyn’s Little Haiti and Little Caribbean! This free, family-friendly event, proudly presented by Life of Hope in collaboration with Citi Health, promises a day full of excitement, music, dancing, and dazzling celebrations.

“One Love, One Haiti” 

This year’s theme, “One Love, One Haiti,” celebrates unity, resilience, and pride and honors the cultural legacy of Haitian communities in Brooklyn and beyond. Mark your calendar for a day filled with joyous festivities as we come together to shine a spotlight on the heart and soul of Haitian heritage.

Parade Highlights

Kick-off 

  • Time: 11:00 AM 

  • Starting Point: Toussaint L’Ouverture Blvd. (Nostrand Ave.) and Pierre Toussaint Blvd. (Church Ave.) 

The parade will ignite the streets with colorful floats, vibrant costumes, and electrifying musical performances as it winds through the heart of Brooklyn’s Little Haiti and Little Caribbean, ending at Flatbush/Nostrand Junction (Hillel Plaza). Be prepared to clap, dance, and celebrate alongside community organizations, marching bands, dancers, cheerleaders, and more!

Festival & Plaza Festivities

Flatbush Junction |  Hillel Place Plaza

  • Time: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM 

Once the parade reaches its destination, the day’s festivities continue at Hillel Place Plaza. Hosted by the talented DJ Hard Hittin Harry, this festival boasts:

  • Live Performances: Groove to the internationally acclaimed Konpa band T-Vice, and enjoy the energetic beats of Raboday performer AndyBeatz alongside dynamic local acts. 

  • Interactive Activities: Join arts and crafts sessions, face-painting stations, and open mic showcases. 

  • Food & Market: Indulge in authentic Haitian and Caribbean cuisine, shop unique vendor stalls, and discover local community resources.
