Bridge To Equity
Working so the underserved becomes the SERVED!

A New Home for
Opportunity in the
Heart of the Community
Life is of proud to announce the purchase of a new 18,000-square-foot standalone building—formerly a Rite Aid—that will soon become a vibrant hub for healing, growth, and opportunity. Designed with our community’s evolving needs in mind, the space will offer a range of essential services, including:
Health and wellness care
Support for pregnant and postpartum families
IT, professional, and vocational training
Job readiness and placement programs
Youth entrepreneurship initiatives
A shared community workspace and incubator
This expansion marks a major milestone in our mission to empower immigrant and youth communities. With dedicated space for high school equivalency counseling and career development, we’re building more than a center—we’re building a future rooted in equity, dignity, and access for all.

OUR PROGRAMS
We provide impactful programs that make youth, immigrant, and underserved families feel safe, welcomed, and supported in Brooklyn.
Health & Wellness
The “Sante Se Lavi" program was created to advance health equity in our community. We provide vital, culturally relevant, and multilingual resources to families—with a strong focus on women’s health—to help individuals take charge of their well-being and forge their own path forward.
Youth Development
The program empowers students to discover and grow their unique talents, gain real-world experience, and prepare for college or vocational careers—equipping them with lifelong skills for a successful journey.
Adult Education and Family Support
Equipping community members not only with language access and job search support, but also with essential digital skills such as office, internet navigation, resume building, and banking.
LOH Ministry
Our Community Partnerships initiative connects interfaith residents with vital public resources, uplifting youth and families through support, guidance, and hope—while celebrating their achievements and resilience.
Ayiti Nou La Toujou (ANLT)
We celebrate cultural diversity, foster community engagement, and honor the rich heritage of the Diaspora. Creating a welcoming space for residents to proudly share their culture while building meaningful connections across the broader community.
Community Empowerment
We empower Central Brooklyn by connecting residents with local leaders and championing vital programs for small businesses, families, and CBO's.
“It was time to have a center that prioritized informing and assisting community members with great resources and helped change lives as a result.”
Irina Ouedraogo, Community Member
